Browse Geary 72-Hour Releases

A Geary County 72 hour release list can help review jail departures across three days, including periods that cross a weekend or holiday. The sheriff does not publish a distinct rolling three-day feed. Instead, a search starts with the official historical booking inquiry and the actual release time inside each booking detail. Its visible date controls narrow booking dates, not release dates, so they cannot guarantee a complete window. A precise Geary County three-day release record may require a request for an existing interval report. Court and custody systems then clarify whether departure meant bond, sentence completion, or transfer.

Geary County Three-Day Release Route

Geary County has no official page labeled as a 72-hour release list. The working official source is the New World Inmate Inquiry linked by the sheriff. It behaves as an archive-style booking system. Released history can remain on subject pages, and each booking can carry its own actual release timestamp.

Use In Custody = No to locate historical records, then open each possible booking. The Booking From Date and Booking To Date controls are often useful for reducing a large result set. They do not define the three-day release period. Someone booked before the selected dates may still have left jail within the last 72 hours. Therefore, the portal supports careful review but not a claim that every departure in the period appears in a ready-made feed.

Three-day limit: Only an actual booking-level release time can place an event within the window; a scheduled date is not proof of departure.

Review Geary Releases Over 72 Hours

A three-day review must be based on the time each custody episode ended. It should also identify the correct person and the correct booking. Several episodes can appear under one subject, and a later booking can change the person’s current status.

  1. Set the desired period with exact opening and closing timestamps.
  2. Search the official inquiry by name, subject number, or booking number and choose In Custody = No.
  3. Use booking dates cautiously to narrow candidates without calling them release dates.
  4. Open each candidate and compare its actual Release Date and time with the defined 72-hour window.
  5. Check the whole subject page for another booking after the release.
  6. Read bond, court, prisoner type, origin, and disposition fields for the likely release path.
  7. Request an interval report when a complete three-day list is needed.

This method is wider than the Geary County same-day release check. The added days may reveal an earlier event that a one-day review misses, but they also increase the number of historical bookings that must be compared.

Geary 72-Hour Release Fields

The result grid is an index, not the final release record. It shows enough identity and status data to select a person. The detail page provides booking-specific facts that support or disprove a three-day match.

Geary Weekend Release Review

A 72-hour interval is useful when the period crosses a weekend or state holiday. Court action, bond processing, and jail administrative work can fall on different calendar days. However, no official source gives a Geary-specific weekend cadence, early-release rule, or holiday posting schedule. The three-day span broadens the review; it does not establish when the portal updates.

Define the interval before searching. For example, a request should use exact start and end times rather than ask loosely for “the weekend list.” That wording helps Sheriff Records locate an existing report and reduces the chance that part of a day is omitted. If a release was ordered during the period but no actual timestamp appears, contact Corrections for operational status and the court for the legal order.

Note: Geary publishes no routine release hour, weekend processing rule, or guarantee that public booking data changes at once.

Geary Archive Release Quirks

The inquiry can preserve multiple bookings for one subject. This makes it more useful than a live-only roster for a past three-day review. It also means the current status cannot be inferred from one old record. Compare booking numbers and dates, read every actual release timestamp, and search for a later custody episode.

The strongest online county proof combines In Custody = No with the actual release date in the matching booking. A blank scheduled date does not prove anything. A missing current-roster hit is also weak evidence because it may reflect a spelling mismatch, another jail, transfer, delay, or a record no longer displayed.

The official historical booking detail shows several episodes on one subject page.

Geary Release or Transfer

A release from Geary County Detention Center means that jail’s custody ended. It may be a return to the community after bond or time served. It may also be a transfer to KDOC, another county, federal authorities, immigration custody, or another lawful custodian. The release timestamp alone does not settle the destination.

Record clueNext check
Bond or BONDED entryUse the listed District or Municipal Court for the pending case.
State sentence or KDOC transferSearch KASPER for prison placement or later supervision.
Another county or warrantCheck the receiving county and the relevant court.
Federal custodyUse the BOP locator or responsible federal authority.
Immigration transferUse ICE ODLS, keeping its coverage limits in mind.

When the public detail does not name a destination, request the existing movement or release-event record. A court record can explain the order, but Corrections records document the physical departure.

Geary Three-Day Verification Chain

Different systems answer different questions. Kansas VINE can check one county-jail subject and send a custody-change alert, but it is not a browseable 72-hour feed. It excludes KDOC prisoners. KASPER covers Kansas correctional custody, postrelease supervision, parole, and discharged state sentences. The District Court or Junction City Municipal Court explains the legal case.

For a county booking, first verify the booking-level timestamp. Then use VINE for a named person’s reported county custody change and the court for the release authority or pending case. If the record points to state prison, switch to KASPER. Federal and immigration departures require their own locators. A registry is limited to people with a statutory duty to register and is not a general release list. The Geary County released-person lookup explains how to route one name among these custodians.

Request Geary Three-Day Records

A complete interval requires an existing jail release report when one is maintained. Geary Sheriff Records accepts requests in person, by fax, or by mail. It does not accept records requests by email and does not give personal record information by phone. Send a precise request to 826 N. Franklin Street, Junction City, KS 66441, fax 785-762-5085. The main line is 785-238-2261 with menu option 4 for records.

Give the exact 72-hour start and end. Ask for booking number, actual release date and time, recorded release cause or authority, bond-release entry, and receiving agency or destination if recorded. The sheriff lists a $10 processing fee, with possible charges for copies, media, mailing, fax, staff time, review, redaction, and computer access. KORA requires a response by the end of the third business day, but production can take longer if the office gives an explanation and estimate.

For a single person, include full name, birth date or subject number, the booking number, and known court or origin. For all departures, make clear that the request covers existing records in a defined interval. Do not ask the office to create an analysis that it does not keep.

Note: A three-day interval record is the sound fallback because the public portal has no release-date-range control.
